Amazon store card CLI, from 600 to 5000 in 6 months! WOOHOO

So I hit up the Amazon chat feature and requested a CLI on my Amazon store card. I've had the card since April of this year and was approved for a SL of $600. I tried for CLI's before 4 months and no luck. At the 4 month mark, I requested a CLI to my surprise, they gave me a total CL of $3500, this was back in late July. So today (less than 2 months later), I said what the heck and asked for another CLI. They asked for my income and the amount I requested. I only asked for a total CL of $5000, a +$1500 CLI...bam! Approved..

This is now my highest credit line, ever. In my whole 31 years of existence. Also another big milestone for me, finally hit the $5k mark! Smiley Happy

It's nice to see lenders finally trusting me with larger limits. I have 0 INQ in the last 6 months, no new accounts in 6 months. Next year will be a great year for me, 3 baddies fall off early April 2016, scores are currently EQ: 640 / TU: 662 / EX: 660, rebuilding since September 2014.

WOW, congrats! Mine is and started out at $800 and I've had it over a year and couldn't get them to budge, but this news makes me glad for your success and hopeful for mine as well.

I've put a couple hundred through it and usually make large payments over the minimum amount. Like I said I got no love under 4 months, but after then the increase started rolling in. Good luck with yours, hopefully you can see an increase sooner than later.

CONGRATS!!!

Thanks for the post, I did not even think to ask for a CLI until I saw you post. I got online increase from 1500 to 4000. I have 11 new accounts in the last 12 months, so I think I did okay.
