OK this morning I applied for the Amazon visa card from chase then sign up for Amazon prime hope to get 5% cashback the card saids that only
Ok this is my data points income 88K income with fico scores over 810 and out standing balance on all creditcard is 400 dollars with total cl before the Amazon card was 365.4k now with the new cl of 5.6K have total credit limits of 371K. also I did burn chase for lot of money back around 2003. Does any one have Chase recon to get increase customer service told me they don't have a recon number. Looking to get this creditcard increase Will not allow a large balance show up don't want to tank my score also Experian was hit for inquiry my phone lit up withalerts.3% see if they will up date visa prime with 5% back.
Once everything updates, the card and Prime should play well together. I think that even if you get Prime, then let it lapse... the 3% and 5% will be applied appropriately, based on your status.

Your income really doesn't really support that level of overall CL.
There is an option to check for CLI in the Chase app. If it says you're not eligible at this time then there's no recon line available to overturn that.
It is lower than you hoped but could come into play that you burnt chase awhile ago if this is your only chase card now? 5600 is still enough if you PIF to buy anything you want from amazon so it should meet your needs.
This is going to happen across cards, there's nothing you can do about it. It's not just Chase specific. Sometimes they're going to offer you lower limits - even in the 800+ FICO club.
However, if you have other Chase cards, you can reallocate credit lines among your cards, increasing limits for the ones you want to use, and decreasing limits for those you barely use. It's a nice feature.
I got the prime a year ago, $9500. $250 sub. At 6 months they went to $10800. I'll be asking as soon as the app allows, but I don't really need a higher limit. Its my only Chase card.
I'd think of you put a lot of spend on it they'd go higher, but maybe not until the 6 month point.
WOOHOO!! Congratulations on your Approval!!👏🏼🍾🥂
