Got denied for a Citi Double Cash last week, but applied for the Amex EDC today and got approved for only 1k, but I have over 20 INQ over 10 new accounts. I'll work on a CLI later.

So now I have a the Gold PRG, the Green, Delta Sky Gold, and now the Everyday-2015 has been my Amex year!!

The green and gold dont have a limit up to a certian amount-I can't charge a Rolls Royce with it. The Delta is 1k.

You stand a good chance at a CLI @ activation. My wife was just approved @ 1K for the BCE, and then we bumped it up to 2K immediately (3K requested) after activation. EX FICO 8 of 693

Okay. Great. When I receive the card, call in the activate and request CLI?

We managed it all online, but either would work.

I would not request a 3x CLI at activation. Use the card a lot, pay it off, repeat, for at least 3-6 months. You will be in better shoes. Something about your profile spooked them hence your low starting limit.

Also, why do you have the green and gold? I hope you at least got the 25k and 50k sign on bonuses for them?

I applied for the green first online. I called in for the gold on the same day got approved, however, Amex told me since I called in I could not 50k points. There was not a bonus for the green when I applied.
