Now I can for sure say that I'm gonna be sitting on all my new accounts and head to the garden. I'm glad to get my foot in the door with Discover and American Express the most! I've gotten quite a few cards since July as I am rebuilding. I need to learn patience and just let time go by. Its just so exciting to see the "Congrats your approved!" page. ![]()
Also any tips on using the American Express Green Card? I dont have a CL and I'm a bit confused. I've read a few posts but I still dont understand.
Thanks in advance ![]()
Banner face(I'm trying to picture if it's a quite large face, like a real life banner, or a quite small one, like an online banner), or if it's the angry Bruce Banner face he makes as he changes into the Hulk, but if you're having trouble slowing your roll with apps, I do have a solution. IIB 3 of the most prolific(cardwise) lenders, and reiceive free bonus bans from some of the other candy peddlers that hang around the schoolyard like Amex, and then you'll have no choice but to procede with careful thought at each step instead of trying to populate the world like a rabbit!
Seriously, if you ever get bored of everything being so easy and would like to advance to much higher levels of the video game in degree of difficulty, that is the route I suggest. Many have chosen it, but few make the choice at a conscious level.
I really don't come on here that often, but when I do, I like to suggest an alternate path. Like in Stairway to Heaven, there's still time to change the road you're on. ![]()
My name is actually 2 childhood nicknames put together lol Banner and Face. I'm to tired tonight to explain how each one came about hahaha
I am being careful now tho. Just gonna sit on these and let time take its course and watch things grow.

Congrats on your approvals!
The Green card does work a bit differently from most cards, since there's "no pre-set spending limit", or NPSL. Basically you actually have an 'internal' limit with Amex, which is based on your resources and income. For normal spending you don't usually have much to worry about... all your charges will likely be approved, and if you need to make a larger purchase outside the pattern of your normal charges, you can check their website to see if it will be approved.
Most people who check the site report that they are 'approved' for a much higher amount than they would ever actually need, so you should be fine. As a point of reference, my account is less than a year old, and the website says I'm approved to charge more than I make in a month with no problem (it could be higher, I've just not tried.)
Just keep in mind that with the Green card you have to PIF each month! ![]()
Again, congrats... those are some awesome cards! ![]()
