Got my first CLI on my first card from Amex my BCE was approved for an increase after review the dreaded 7-10 day message. Amex called me the very next day asking if it was me that asked for it and did I still want it. YES! I have a fraud alert on my credit reports so I should be use to the fact that I'll never get an immediate approval for anything g the new few years, unless I take the fraud alert and kick it to the curb.
Anyways, my baby steps $1k BCE was approved for a 3X CLI @105 days, taking it to $3000.
My Ex Fico score on the Amex app was 740.
My TU Vantage score, on the Amex app was 718.
I had my last derog fall off June 1st, it was only on my TU report all other reports clean. But, Amex pulled my Ex and TU to approve me. I think this falling off helped, also waiting for the scores to update on the app then waiting a month also helped.

Congratulations!! I’ve been trying to get a 3x CLI on my Amex Delta Blue card but to no avail. I’m so excited for you and this is encouraging me to stay the course.

I applied and was approved on March 21st! They pulled EX and TU, I imagine because of my AAoA was so low. My EX was 733 I think and my TU was 650s.
I had planned, all along, to wait for the 61 day 3X CLI until my last derog fell off in June. After it fell off I figured I should wait till my Amex Fico score updated to June score and another two weeks after that, just for good measure.
