Woohoo! I've been wanting to get in with Amex for a bit and after reading here that they mostly pull EX (my highest score), I decided to pull the plug, fulling expecting a denial and a waste of a HP. I figured that I was a no when I got the "Pending review" 14 day notice. But a moment later I get an email from Amex saying "Welcome to American Express" and prompting me to set up my online account. I went through all the steps, and boom! $2K limit with Blue Cash Everyday! I can't tell you how excited I am about this! I know it's not a huge limit, but it's American Freakin' Express! I'm on the verge of tears! Thank you to all of the wonderful people here in the forums who have helped me in my rebuilding this year. 9 months ago I would have laughed at anyone who said I'd be getting an Amex this year. But the invaluable info I have received on these boards have given me new hope. Thank you thank you thank you!
