Amex BCP CLI

I've had my BCP for just over 2yrs.  It started with a $5k limit and I've been denied twice for CLIs , once after 6 months and again after 14 months.   Both times I was denied due to a bankruptcy reporting (CH7).  During the most of the time I've had the card I've not seen any of the elevated sub offers for any cards, until the last couple of months.  Since I'm seeing those and started seeing some preapprovals I decided to give it another shot for a CLI.  Since I was expecting a denial I went small and didn't go for 3X or even 2X.  Went for a 50% increase to $7500 and was approved!  Happy to get the approval, but also wondering what I left on the table.  At the time of CLI approval scores (FICO8) are EQ 690, TU 698, EX 692 with 3/6 cards reporting  and 5% utilization overall.  If they used a recent AR I probably would have been in the 6-8% range depending on which month.  BK7 is 7yrs 3mo old fwiw.

Nice! BCP is my most used card.  Next time ask for 2x and get that thang to $15k!

@Barky Curious why almost all of your posts include the need to reference "gen zero"? Are you of that generation looking for peers, or perhaps one who is not which looks askance at them?
