I'm hoping for this to encourage whoever needs it to pull the trigger on one of these cards. I apped for both, one last night, one tonight. Instant approval for both. I'll put some profile info below if anyone wants to weigh their chances.
-Discover It Student Cash Back: instant approval $1,500 (no known pull)
-Amex Blue Cash Everyday: instant approval $4,000 (experian)

-Age 19 (as of march)
-Income $25,000
-Experian: 714 -Transunion: 714 Equifax: 712 (all had 4-5 inq)
-Capital One Secured Plat $500 (9mos) -Petal Card $750 (8mos) -Apple Card $250 now $500 but not on report (7mos) -Fingerhut $400 (5mos)
-AAoA 7 mos
-Util: 15%
-No baddies or late payments
-I was pre approved for both these cards before applying.
-I had to call discover for my documents to be reviewed instantly instead of waiting since its the student card. I called to make sure my documents were recent enough (December). she said yes and told me my limit.
-Amex was an instant approval which I really wasnt expecting, nor such a high limit. I was scared since it wasnt recommended on credit karma and my income is low for an Amex. But I pre approved for a good bit of their travel cards as well, not in my interest.
