Re: Amex BlueCash

There is a mega thread for Amex that has reports of many users getting 3x their credit limit after 61-91 of opening the account. Some have had luck doing it immediately after getting their card!

Re: Amex BlueCash

Congratulations, my wife and I were both approved for Amex cards last December. We both requested and received 2X cli's upon activation.

Re: Amex BlueCash

Congrats on your AMEX. As a data point, I was approved for BCE earlier this month and tried for CLI upon activation and was told my account needed to be 60 days old. I'll gladly wait because I've added a bunch of CLI to my other cards and added another $4000 in other new trade lines as well.

Re: Amex BlueCash

Thank you for that information! I know it is probably best to wait until it is 61 days old, especially since this is my first time ever with Amex. The only reason I was strongly considering it is because I put my own income and I am a student now; my household income is nearly double what I put down. I was hoping that the increased income would quickly improve my low starting limit - but I am sure my credit score has a huge impact on my low initial limit too. I guess 61 days isn't too long Smiley Tongue
