Amex CLI!

My last Amex CLI was 7/6/13. That one was a $4k to $10k increase on my BCE (I didn't ask for the full 3x). Today I decided to try the same for my Hilton HHonors card. Even though it's a couple days before my 6 month point, it has had 6 statements cut (as of yesterday), so I figured it would be worth a shot. And it was! I used the automated phone CLI and was instantly approved for the increase to $10k. So happy to now have 2 5-digit limit cards Smiley Happy

Re: Amex CLI!

Congrats Nice bump

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Amex CLI!

I should also mention I don't put a lot of spend on this card - I really just use it at Dunkin Donuts and the once or twice yearly hotel stay.  On average, I put maybe $50/month on it.

I'd say that's a pretty good CLi given the low usage, albeit for yummy donuts and hotel here and there!

Yup, it was similar with my BCE - I was only putting $100-$300/month on that card when they approved me for that increase!
