App'd after seeing offer on amex site. For 200 SUB after spending 2000. Application asked to send me a code to my email I used my new address after application went pending. Called yesterday and spoke with new accounts and she asked me if I or my spouse was in the military. Weird I have never been in the military nor do I have a spouse. After that I got an approval for 6K and I clarified to make sure that the SUB was applied to my account and she said yes. Well... Shortly after I chatted with customer service and they advised that it was not applied to my account because of my previous standing with AMEX I was then transfered to some escalated team and advised them to look at my history with AMEX I have never been late and I have always paid them well over the past 7 years and I had also never had a Cash Magnet card. They stated they would look into it and see if they can give me that offer or a better one for my troubles but there is no guarntee. They gave me a case id number to follow up on. The Saga Continues...
