Amex Cash Preferred Auto-CLI

Hi,

I just got an email from Amex indicating my credit limit has been auto increased by about 33%. I have been running almost all of my monthly expenses through there for the past 3 months, so I am sure they are very pleased. I have had the card for 5 years but I didn't run my expenses through there until I upgraded to the Cash Preferred this past December. The question I have centers on the 6 month rule. I have not requested a CLI since December. Will I still be eligible at the 6 month mark from December or does the auto CLI reset the clock on the CLI? There have been conflicting statements on here, so I thought I would ask again! Thanks!
