Amex Delta Gold CLI !

Had been contemplating another CLI as this would put me at 35k and possibly prompt AMEX to request financial docs. Not an issue but does seem like a hassle. Asked for 1k on the app and CLI approved. 

Does anyone know if they wanted the 4506T would they have requested before approving the CLI ?

As a recent DP, my BCP was approved to $39,000  (from $ 32.600)  two weeks ago.  
The Approval was instant.

As an aside, I was "playing" with my Gold Card's Spending Power feature which allowed $60,000.  I dont know if there are any correlations between the limits of the charge cards vs the credit cards.

There's always a risk that a CLI app can trigger a 4506-C request, it can even be for a requested limit that is less than $35K especially if the applicant has other AMEX credit cards.   If AMEX wants to see your tax returns they wont consider an approval until after they receive and review the info from the IRS.  If you don't authorize the IRS to release them you'll end up with a denial.
