Oh my goodness...I barely understood any of that lol!  Sounds really fancy and like you really know how to play the credit game.

Re: Amex Delta Reserve Approved

I have the Delta Plat too. I was thinking of using it jus for the pass. I figure if a domestic costs $400 I’ll be in the plus. I was thinking of downgrading to the blue but I’ll see what my UR points will be around the time the Amex AF posts. I don’t plan on closing it because I don’t want to mess with AAOA

Re: Amex Delta Reserve Approved

@Anonymous thanks, but I'm an advanced amateur at best.  There's a lot of alphabet soup involved in points and miles.

@Anonymous if you don't otherwise have free bags, discounted/free access to Sky Clubs, etc., there's another reason to hold onto it.  As for account age, it should still calculate up to 10 years after it's closed, so unless it's significantly older than your average accounts I wouldn't worry about that.

No alert yet and I'm signed up for a lot of monitoring!  My last HP from American Express was in 2002, and I added the SPG and Delta Platinum last year with no HP.

I've only every had 1 HP from Amex for any of my 4 cards in the last 18 months.

Hoping it stays with no HP.  Received 2 AMEX cards this year with 1 HP,  but no pre-approvals.  I do have 3 personal revolvers, 3 personal charge, 2 business revolvers, and 1 business charge cards, though.

Re: Amex Delta Reserve Approved

Congrats K.

I just can’t pull myself away from AA.  Lol, I had two Atlanta trips this year and Delta was direct and AA not but I still couldn’t book delta.  The cost was basically the same and it really only cost me time, 2hrs.

These are the funny things we may do to maintain the upper ends of elite status, more miles and segments if time is the cost.
