@Varsity_Lu wrote:Congrats! I'm assuming you mean Blue Cash Everyday, right? I love that card. One of the best no AF cards out there.
Also checking if you mean the BCE or actual old AMEX Everday? Thought the latter was discontinued last year, would be cool if there was another workaround to get a new one!
Anyhow, congrats
My thoughts as well!

I have both the Blue Cash Everyday (this is the one I just opened) and the Blue Cash Preferred from Amex. I’ve been using the Blue Cash Preferred heavily since I opened it in March 2024—typically spending $3K to $10K per month and always paying in full. Amex seems to appreciate this: I’ve received multiple credit line increases every 90+ days, going from $1K to $3K, then to $9K, $18K, and now $33K.
In contrast, Chase has been extremely stringent with me. Despite always paying my balance in full, they’ve refused to increase my limit on the Sapphire Preferred, which has been stuck at $5K since I opened it. I’ve called twice the back door number to request a CLI and explained that it’s not practical for booking travel, as my business-class flights and hotel expenses regularly exceed that limit—but they didn’t care. So I’ve stopped using the card altogether.
