I dont use my Amex Everyday card much, but my daughter who is an authorized user recently purchased concert tickets that were offered in an Amex pre-sale. As multiple people were going, it was a $1,500 purchase against my $10,800 credit limit.
My statement cycled, and a couple of days later, my limit was bumped up to $12,000. So not a huge increase, but still a $1,200 increase!
In other news, my statment cycled on September 15, which is the day the tickets were purchased. Now that is a fast clearing of that transaction to make that statement! Here's me thinking it was going to roll over to this month's transactions... Not a big deal, just an observation on my part.
