So let me start off to say I've had the Hilton 2nd tier CC and Delta Gold Amex CC since 2019 with a $1000 CL on each and decided to pull the trigger and ask for the upgrade to Amex Hilton Aspire. At first I got an error I wasn't approved then noticed the next day I was now Diamond at Hilton and shortly after got the approval info! Me and Amex have a rocky past back since 2016. I had problems with my financial life and screwed them on a $1000 Amex Everyday card posting 90 days late but I settled with them shortly after and cleared my debit in full paying off the full balance. Time goes on and around 2019 I tried to see if my credit returning to normal would help and shocked Amex approved me for both cards with a $1000 CL. Since 2019 I can't get approved for a higher CL but I'll take it! Maybe one day I will but for now I'm happy to own the Amex Hilton Aspire and rewards it offers even if it's a $1000 CLI. I've spent around $3000 a year on both and paid them off with no late payments. I think Amex is just very conservative with me still.
Congrats - Amex has a very long memory.
If you're happy paying a fee that is half your limit who am I to complain. This makes the Platinum prepaid card look like a great deal. On top of the ridiculous fee you also have to deal with 29% interest. LOL
Congrats on the new AmEx HA Card upgrade approval.
The fee is prorated for June 2023 onward and I don't plan on carrying a balance at high interest. Working with what I got and hoping to earn Amex trust eventually one day.
Congrats

Congrats on the upgrade!
congrats on the upgrade
Congratulations on the upgrade.
Congrats on your upgrade. And congrats for getting back in with Amex as well. Hopefully, they'll start opening up the doors even more as you continue to demonstrate responsible usage. Best of luck with the journey
