Congrats. That's an awesome comeback story. I was in a similar boat with Amex with a green card and blue student card back in my uni days (99). Glad to hear they've given you another chance 😊
Congrats on your approval

I first got an Amex Green Card in 1995 when I was in high school. I filled out a paper application (lied about my income) and mailed it in. They then sent me a card. I was terribly irresponsible with this card and within a year I defaulted. I ignored it for a while and finally paid it off in 2002.
Then in 2009 I decided to apply for a Green Card and got approved. In 2014 I got a Blue Cash EveryDay with a 20K CL. Credit score at this time was in the upper 700's. In 2016 I lost my job and strugged to find a new job and fell behind and defaulted on Amex again in 2017 with a total balance of 19K between the two cards.
I finally got a good job in my career again in 2019 and in 2020 I made arrangements to pay off Amex with an Optima offer. Three years later, in Marcho of this year, I finally paid off the 19K. After reading reviews about the Optima card, I went ahead and declined the offer. I'm glad I did.
I'm still recovering from my 2017 disaster with a score in the upper 600's now. So this month I thought I'd take a chance and apply for the Amex EveryDay and was approved with a $1K. Not the kind of CL I used to have, but I guess I'm just glad to be back after such a long rocky history. My new EverDay card still says "Member Since 96."
Congratulations on the approval.
Don't worry about the starting limit; Amex is good with soft pull CLI's.

Why did you get rid of your OLLO credit card? isnt that a uncapped 2.5%?

The Ollo was converted to Ally. I updated my footer to make that clearer.

Same card AMEX approved me back in March, BUT about 2 weeks ago I tried for the BLUE CASH everyday and was turn down, called RECON and she ask me want happened to my BK Ch7 back in 2010, their notes in their system says "pending" or "no conclusion" and I told her that is was DISCHARGE, she updated my file and I was told to reapply again in 3 months for the BCE, she said "give the annotaions some time to process".
Would love to hear how that turns out. Never had BK and I'd love to get the BCE eventually. Had that card before and loved it.

Wow like you said- twice. Glad you are doing well again and appreciate the details @mrsno !
Obviously, paying back the debts from 2002 allowed you to get back in - in 2009 and paying back your 2017 debt this March has opened the door today.
