Amex Platinum Approval!

So to end my app spree, I tried the prequalify link for AMEX and they gave me a Gold/Plat/BCE Offer. Platinum is the card I've been working towards so I decided to just go for it. I was approved! I know there's a lot of talk about this card not being as good as it once was and being expensive since they upped the AF but I really wanted this one. My buying Power is $5000 and cash Pay after limit is $2500. Probably low but still im in the Amex Ecosystem and very happy about it!

PS. When can i ask for a CLI and also when can i Apply for the BCP Card?

@BishopBlackCongrats on the new Platinum! Just curious, why did you prefer this card over the Gold? Running this debate in my mind for myself. Do you plan to start traveling often? Again, congratulations!

@greatscott85 I assumed I can downgrade to the Gold if I don't like it but not upgrade to the Platinum.

Good approval. Did they preapprove you or did they prequal you when you used the prequal site?
