Last month I applied for the Amex platinum and was rejected, I tried the reconsideration line and no help there. I waited until today and tried my luck again and I got approved for it with the 150k sign up offer. Any thing I should do now to get more out of it?
Congratulations on your approval!!
Congrats on your Amex Platinum approval.
Congratulations on your Amex Plat approval!!
Congrats on your approval!
Congrats! I hope you were aware of and looking forward to taking advantage of the card' benefits before apping for one with a $695 annual fee that will be hitting shortly.
I would recommend signing up for as many of them as possible. You will need to actually sign up for Priority Pass and get the card before you can use the lounges. If you show up to them with your Amex Platinum alone, they'll turn you away.

Respectfully that's not correct information at all. ALL you need to enter the Centurion (AmEx) Lounges is your boarding pass (from any airline you're flying subject to the 3 hour rule) and Platinum card. Same to enter the Delta Sky Lounges, you only need your Delta boarding pass and Platinum card. Now to enter any other lounges that are in the separate Priority Pass network then yes you have to sign up for PP. However those two I mentioned are the big two lounges that 95% of Platinum card holders use when flying.

Well, it is correct as far as Priority Pass, actual PP card is needed, although some instances seem to be going to virtual PP card. Your added info regarding Centurion and Delta lounges does clarify the subtle differences.
Regarding Delta however, there may be some steps a new Platinum cardholder needs to take, to ensure one's SkyMiles info is cross referenced between Delta and AMEX. My situation has a Delta Gold AMEX and other AMEX links since 2013, so my Platinum from a few years ago had that already known. I don't know for certain, but I'd guess OP needs to do something there.
OP, Congrats on the Platinum approval ! I think you have to connect to Uber to get the monthly Uber Cash. The Hilton and Marriott Gold status requires initiation.
Congrats on your approval!
