For the past couple of years Amex has been flashing the "you've been pre-approved" message but I ignored them as I was content with my current stable. However, out of the blue DW has been bitten by the travel bug and is busy booking cruises and Vegas trips. I foresaw lots of wasted airport hours so I finally accepted their offer because of their airport clubs!!
