Amex Platinum

I've been made whole. I went on Amex's website to see if I prequalified for any of their cards, and low and behold I was pre-approved for the Amex Plat with a 100K sign up bonus. I should receive the card on Tuesday. What a journey this has been. Amex closed my Platinum Card more than 12 years ago because I was viewed as a "risk". They were right. I paid the balance on the card in full. Since then, I've climbed from the financial abyss. Got a home 1.5 years ago, a car loan in 3 years ago now this card along with the Citi DC, Citi AAD and the CSP. The Plat bonus is predicated if I spend $5K in 6 months, which shouldn't be hard. $5K in 3 months and I probably wouldn't have applied. A year ago, my Fico 8 scores ranged between 570-610, now they're at 765-785. I'll probably hit 800 across the board sometime in Q1 2021 when some hard pulls age to 1 year, however this card will lower my average age, so we'll see. Nonetheless, this is a good day.

Thank you Devil. From here it's just a matter of gardening. I'll pay off the car loan in the next couple of weeks or leave about $1-2K on the balance to help out my FICO Scores. I've already earmarked funds for Christmas and $ for a plumbing job/new shower installation of about $2500, so no real big purchases. 4 HP's will have reached the 1 year mark by the end of February and another one by the end of April. I will take a slight hit for opening this account(Experian hit me for 5 pts for the HP).
