Barry,

Just the standard25k offer forSPG. I found a50k link for Mercedes Platinum. When do you think you'll app forSPG?

I do my 6 mth CLI on Delta in Feb.  Want my scores to climb a bit before apping.  I really just need another AMEX  or two to leverage my 1983 MSD and my only realy hotel status is with Starwood so I like this card.  CL not really important.

What should be my other AMEX choice for 2015?

Oh yeah I would definitely wait for that CLI then.  I'm probably the wrong person to give advice on what Amex to go for.  Mine have been all over the map these last few years.  I recently got Business Gold card for 50k MR points, but I didn't have any MR points to begin with really.  For a time I was heavy on Delta miles, but they keep getting devalued I felt I could get better rewards with something else.  So then I did Hilton since I could couple it with churning Citi Hilton cards.  But that churning really takes up time and my Ficos all dropped from 815-ish to 750-780 where they remain today.  You have some options though, you could try for the Business SPG but it doesn't report to personal.  Or you could do another card like Everyday for more MR points.

Thanks for sharing your history.  I probably need to get SPG and then see if they have a no-fee card to follow-up for the year.  Not familiar with all their products.
