Two recent approvals: Amex Blue Cash Preferred and Barclays Aviator MC
1. I've had an Amex Platinum for 18-ish years but none of their other products. Never had any pre-approvals just the 'extend membership....'! So I decided to apply hoping it would be a soft pull since my CB's were all frozen. Got the dreaded ' don't call us we'll call you in 5-7 days' message. TBH I totally forgot I applied until today when I received an email I was approved. Yay me! But then I thought they probably gave me $4-5k but to my surprise my starting CL is $15k. Was shocked and very pleased. Not the $25k I use to get but definitely not shabby!
2. Been missing my American Airlines points so applied for the Barclays and was instantly approved for $4k. Very low and tried to recon 3 times but no luck. They wanted to do another HP but I wasn't going for it.
Time to take my butt to the garden and not come out til Puxatawny Phil does in 2023!
