Amex & Chase Forgiveness??

Yes, the Chase card was paid by settlement to the assigned collection agency after being charged off. This was about 12-13 years ago.

Chase has a very long memory, but they let me back in after i burned them in 2004 with a bk. It took me nearly 9 years to get back in though lol.

Quick update. I ran prequal again the other day and came back prequalifed for Amex Green, Chase Freedom, and now Chase Sapphire.

Decided to apply for Amex PRG instead of Green and was instant approved.

Decided to apply for Chase Sapphire, was given the "30 day review" notice. Called in to Chase in the morning, answered a few questions, approved for $8K SL.

Amex & Chase prequals are solid and looks like both companies also have the ability to forgive.
