Amex auto Cli, 1st cli after 11 mths. When can I request a cli ?

So last week I received my first cli which was a auto cli after 11 mths. Everytime I requested an increase it was denied.. This is my personal Amex which had a $1000 SL. New limit is $2500. How long should I wait before going for a 3X request? I'm hearing that an auto cli doesn't reset the 6 mth clock. E!

Well, yes you could apply for a CLI, the question is should you? They just gave you a bump, so maybe you want to wait a few weeks. Maybe you don't. Ultimately it's your decision and all they could do is tell you no, then you have to wait and getting it somewhere down the road.  Congratulations on your CLI!

Amex auto CLI's do not reset the clock for customer initiated requests.

i just made a post about my auto increase and a couple weeks later got a 2x increase so it can happen .
