Amex cli question?

I applied for Amex BCE in September and got aprroved for 5.5K. I've read a lot on the 3x cli that amex offers on 61st day.

So, my question is... should I ask for 16.5K or less? I'm not sure if that's too much. I hear it's good to ask for the 3x cli if you have a lower CL like 1K or 2K.

ask for the full 3x cli.    they will either give you the full 3x or come back with a lower counter offer.

+1...I was at 6k and asked for 18k and they countered with 12,900.00
