Three months ago, I posted about my success with an 80% CLI from Discover. Well, after seeing multiple posts about getting additional CLIs soon after, I decided to go for it and it paid off! Discover offered me a $3,500 increase, bringing my limit to $9,100. It's still my lowest card, but not by much now, considering it was only at $3,100 just 3+ months ago. That's almost 3x higher!

Congrats! Its been said over the years. You got a predetermined CL. Missy will give until you reach it. Then things get a bit tougher. But she is a jealous one. Disco wants to be your go to card. Try again in 31 days. Never know.

I hope not lol! I got this card when I barely had any credit (one $300 Cap1 Platinum card), so I can't imagine what the predetermined CL would be from that time. I read the entire Discover thread years back but it became pretty evident that the gravy train days were over. Maybe we're getting them back.
I'm just happy that the limit is more usable now, so that my utilization doesn't get too high when I actually use it. That and it's my oldest card, so I intend to keep it!!

I'm still waiting to hit 91 days (3rd statement) for my card to try to raise the $500 limit on my student card. (I've already put through more than $750 in spend since receiving the card) Do you have any advice?
