@GrandBay  thank you! On my Flagship I spend over $2500 a month.  On my More Rewards lately I haven't spent much. Less than $20 a month.   This quarter Discover and Chase are offering  5% back on gas and my Flagship is offering 5% back on food. Those are both better offers than the 3% the More Rewards gives. Those categories are usually all I put on the More Rewards. 

Honestly based on my recent More Rewards spend I can't say for certain if they reward spend or not. It definitely doesn't hurt but it seems like my limit requests were approved despite me not spending much.
