So, for a little background, I've been rebuilding for about 3 years. Prior to that I really didn't know much about credit and was dumb and naive. 3 years ago I found this site and have been relatively obsessed ever since then. It's been a long process and when I started out I had very little extra money to do anything with. I've since then started making more money and have rehabbed student loans and made sure I paid everything on time.
I still have a repo on all three reports and 2 collections on EX and 1 on EQ and TU. My scores still aren't great (EQ: 665, TU: 655, EX: 674), but I had May 1 as my plan for a mini-app spree (that got a little bit out of control). Here are the results:
PSECU Visa: Instant Approval $10,000 (This is the one card I was really hoping for.)
Capital One Venture: 7-10 Day Message. Received Letter in mail approved for $15,000
Blue Nile: Approved for $8,000. (This was another I was hoping for as I will likely be purchasing a ring relatively soon.)
PenFed Promise: Approved for $1,000 (Was hoping for more, but happy to be approved as a start. Was denied about 6 months ago).
DCU CLI: Approved from $5,000 to $7,500
AMEX BCP: Approved for $5,000
Chase Amazon Visa: 7-10 Day Message. Received Letter for verification. Approved for $3,500.
Citi Double Cash: Instant Denied
Barclay's Apple Rewards: Approved for $2,000
Now I will be entering the Garden for a long time to come. Fortunately I have multiple student loan tradelines dating back quite far, so the hit on my AAOA shouldn't be too bad. Overall, I'm very happy and surprised.
congrats!!
would you mind sharing what your reported income is, and what (if any)was your highest CL on a CC BEFORE this app spree?
Very nice - congrats!!

Congrats OP! I'm interested in the above also because some of it seems surprising for the scores, making me think you have a nice income to offset that. Good for you.

My income is about $74,000. It's actually a little bit higher because I get an annual bonus of 17% but I don't count that in my apps because it doesn't show in my monthly pay stub. So nothing overly high like some people on here.
My highest previous CL was $8,000 with JCrew. My utilization was about 4 or 5% and that was all on 0% interest card for a matress. I don't have anything negative within the last 4-5 years, but I'm just waiting for a few old items to fall off my reports.
