On 1/1/2014 I was approved for a Lowe's card ($1100) and Chase Freedom ($3000). This past week I was approved for Discover IT ($1500) and today was approved for BCE ($2000). Hope the inquiries dont kill my scores! Previously I had a Credit Union CC for $5000 with very low util as well as a mortgage and student loans. Feels good to start growing some accounts with various credit providers. Had CK of 723 and Discover said my Fico was 665.

Since you've already taken one hit from Amex, did you consider apping for another Amex card, and hope that it just counts as one single inquiry? Worst case scenario is a no. Better case scenario is that the two cards will age together without "backdating." Just to warn you, it might screw up your 61 day CLI odds.
