Very nice, congrats!
Congrats! Want even more line on the home depot? I'd call them and request 20K, they might approve it! Just to get you more available credit and lower your utl even more!

Well I have been gardening for a few years now. I had a capital one card $1050 limit, and a chase Slate at $1500. I also have a Old Cannery store card with $2700.
Well I decided that I should try and expand my portfolio so to speak. My main card I wanted was the Amex card as I have always view it as the cream of the crop. Here are my results
Amex blue-approved $6500 limit.
Discover It-approved $10,000 limit
Capital one venture- approved $5000 limit
Home Depot- approved $13,000 limit
Best Buy card- $5,000 limit
I applied for CLI on my old cards and this was the result
Chase slate-increased to $7,000 limit
Cap one- increased $500 (stingy)
Old cannery-increased to $10,000 limit
I can't believe I was able to get all this. I was floored that I got approved for not Discover and Amex. I am looking forward to finally getting some rewards to all my spending.
Do I need this much credit? Heck no! I am responsible though and won't be using near this amount any time soon....or ever. I try to PIF with all my cards but sometimes I carry a balance.
Credit history- one medical collection, PIF and falls off in a month. Two 30 day pages when I was in college and will call off in two months.
Thanks for all the great tips and help on finding which card would suit me
......and very formidable results Indeed!
Hey Congrats! OP and you have the right idea in mind. Building up a solid credit profile and pretty soon the "hiccups"will become only a forgotten distant memory for you. ![]()
