Hi All.. so I was posting my preapproval for a Monster Penfed SL and was looking through other approcals and noticed the most recent APPLE card approval.. so I decided to check it out and see what it was all about.
I went into my Iphone wallet and clicked apply.. they asked for basic info.. last 4 of social.. income and then Drivers license pic for verification.
About 10 secs later I got an approval for $20k at 17.99. Not the greatest rate but I dont carry balances anyway.
The thing is, I cant see how they did an HP considering I have things locked down? Some people say they are using Chex and some are saying they do an HP later?
So if my CRs are locked down, what happens with the already issued card on my wallet as well as them sending the physical titanium one in the next 3-5 days?
Any experience with this? I really didnt intend to apply for this card ever.. but I do like apple products so I thought it would be kool. Padding my Total CL not bad either but of course puts by further out for 5/24.
DPs
800+ across all CR
1% utilization
200 total CL
8/24.. but really 8/12
So basically..im not sure what they will do given that they wont have access to a full CR?
Congrats!
YOU...
CONGRATS @intelecorp on your Apple Card approval, the AWESOME SL, Thanks for the DPs and Welcome to the Apple Card family!!!
Thanks so much Marz.. Hopefully the card features only improve from here!
I unfroze TU for the pull before submitting, but no HP.. so I've frozen it again.
Surely will be interesting how it plays out. This wasnt a card I was really pining for, but preety decent SL, so if GS wants me to unlock so they can pull, I most probably will.. probably will negotiate a lower rate and maybe an even higher SL at that point

You're welcome @intelecorp and I AGREE with you about more features or else my card will be SD!
Congrats! However, they do a hard pull after you offically agree to the APR and the SL.
