Apple Card Approval!

I applied for the Apple Card as I have read about the good results and decent limits. Denied on first round, due " to closed checking/ savings." Weird... froze my ChexSystems and was approved at 500 SL! TU Fico came at 666 ( good luck apparently. )

I must've crossed some revolving age threshold cause they're offering 6000 instead of 1500. Venmo and PayPal are also coming after me. But now isn't the time for me.

I'd just like to add a data point as well. I too have applied many times for the apple card. Every single time the denial reason was "recently past due" even though I have not been in years. Back in May i learned you could only apply 5 times per month before getting frozen out for 30 days. This past Saturday was my last time applying. This time the past due reason was gone, but a new reason was given (too many applications for credit recently). Well i just saw this post and followed it exactly, added a mac to my cart and went to check out. Went to review as usual but then came back approved! Same exact terms! $1,500 @21.99%! So glad to finally get this card!! As of last app on Saturday TU Fico 9 was 650 and my Fico 8 was 675
