Apple Card Auto CLI

So this was really weird. 10/20 would have been the 90 day mark since my last CLI. Of course I tried and got shot down due to "recent credit limit increase." I've been trying everyday since 10/20. Last night, I got declined again and even chatted with a rep to confirm if there were recent changes to their policy. The craziest part is less than 8hours after I got denied, I get an auto CLI to $5300 up from $3500. In the preceding months, total spend in August was $550, $1050 in September and $2550 in October (the full October purchase was just returned yesterday and I got credited this morning bringing the balance to $0 and net total Oct. spend to $50)

Re: Apple Card Auto CLI

This might be reaching but I'm curious how this applies to new Apple Card holders. "180 days after an approved credit limit increase...." could leave an opening for those of us who've not yet requested our first. Smiley Happy 91 days is the third week of Nov for me, can't wait to test the waters.

It would effectively mean once a calendar year if the request was made in the second half of the year, but not if it was made in the first half. The GS customer service rep didn't do the math 😂

@pip3man congratulations on your auto CLI, and thank you for the DPs! It seems to give the "why" to a lot of DPs showing GS has recently become less generous for Apple Card CLIs.

Re: Apple Card Auto CLI

Congratulations on your Apple Card auto-CLI! Thank you for sharing DPs! I grew this card through 91 day CLIs like clockwork so it's interesting to see that this might be their new policy.

It all makes sense now, according to gs there's only 180 days in a year 😂
