@Titans84 wrote:I have not tried for a CLI on the Apple card in almost six months. My last increase was back in Oct of 2022. All denials since then were the same--"insuffienct use." That's fair as it only gets my monthly Apple related spin. And that's not a lot. Still never hurts to see if you can squeeze any credit out of a bank.
I randomly tried for an increase this morning and to my surprise I received an additonal $2K to bring my total limit to $26K.
DPs:
SL 08/2019: $8,000
SP 04/2021: $12,000
SP 07/2021: $15,000
SP 10/2021: $18,000
SP 10/2022: $24,000
SP 02/2024: $26,000
Congrats! ![]()
I wonder if they give CLIs for No use
Where's my peeps out there, I know I am not the only one ![]()
Btw, @Titans84 I am assuming CLIs are SPs and its probably easy thru the app?

@SunriseEarth wrote:Congrats on recent CLI and on the steady growth! You inspired me to go ask (I've never requested a CLI on this card) and I went from $20K to $22K in a snap. Easy peasy.
Thanks @SunriseEarth
Congrats on your increase.

I would bet you could get an increase with no spend. Can't hurt to try. And yes, most if not all increases are SP. At least I've never seen a DP with a HP.
And technically you don't even need to use the app to request. The request happens in Messages. Just need to send a request to 'Apple' in messages. An automatic reply will let you know it can help and then a follow up link will be provided. Just need to update income and hit submit. Usually an instant increase or denial happens. Occasionally more time is needed for a decision and that could take 2-3 days.

Can you add your TU Inquiries from the past 6, 12 and 24 months ?
At the time of the request:
2/6, 2/12, 3/24 -- The 2 inquires surpassed 6 months 3 days ago as my last 2 apps were completed on the same day back in September.

Thanks for your DP @Titans84 .
I was denied a CLI a few weeks and had guessed my 4/12 was the reason.

@NoMoreE46 I received that same denial reason the last time I requested an increase back in October. Oddly enough, my stats were still the same when the increase happened last week.

Worked just like you said. Not a major jump ($4000 → $4500
) but not bad for 99% not using the card except maybe evey 6 months for something small to keep it active ![]()
