Really made me smile :-) Enjoy that CLI,
Cheers
Yeah it's the exact number I was wanting to get so I'm totally thrilled!
WS, Citi, Target, and DCU are on notice - I don't want any cards under $2K when I apply for my Cash+ in October. If I don't get some CLIs I'm going to go chop happy. 😂
Not sure, But I think US Bank marches to a beat of it's own drum on Cash+ SCL's ..

Yeah but with 0/12 and 780+, no balances carried, and 6 months with a US Bank checking account in addition to no other cards below $2K, I would think $2K+ is in the realm of probability.
I wouldn't care if they gave me $1K, I just want to have the best chance of not getting hit with a low limit and the cards I listed aren't really that valuable with low limits.
Congratulations on the CLI's! That's awesome! If you use Facebook there is a Navy Federal CU fan club page on there. People are always sharing valuable info and tips on there as well as answering each others questions. Just today I learned when you ask for a CLI that they can increase it up to 3 times your current limit, anything higher will be denied and they will counter with an amount. Most people with your previous limit usually ask for their new limit to be $25,000 and they get it. In 6 months you can ask for another increase if you like. Again congrats!

myFICO has a pretty long thread here!
Congratulations on the CLI double play!

Yes we have the big NFCU CLI thread and I've read every post in it from around mid 2017 or so haha. The reason I don't ask for really high amounts like that is because my income doesn't support limits that high. It would be nice to have a $25K credit card but with $18K income, it's not exactly practical 😂
Excellent! I don't think I'll use my AC ehough to ever get a bump. Glad to see people getting CLIs from Goldman, though.

What I meant was, I do not think they even look at "other" limits
and yes $2000.00 is not out of the realm of possibilities.
I know they have tightened the purse strings .. and I just have not seen enough DP's lately.

Two nice approvals, @Anonymous, but not surprising with your pristine scores. Congrats!
Thank you for this link! I will check it out!
