Apple Card approval

I have been trying for 14 months to get the Apple Card with no success. I read on the forum that perhaps if you applied while trying to purchase something you may have success. I filled my cart with about 10k worth of stuff then applied for the Apple Card and BAM approved for 6k at 21.99. This was a goal card and almost 3 years post bk finally approved.
