Approval.........SHELL GAS CARD!

FYI: This turned out to be an EQ pull. All four CIti approvals were EQ pulls. Not one was an EX pull. And here I thought Citi was EX happy from past posts.

Thanks AJC! I’ve been using Chevron for a minute, but Shell is offering better rewards. Time for a switch.

I got a Shell card specifically to insulate my "real" cards from skimmers on gas pumps...$500 starting limit.  So far, so good.  I changed my commute recently and it seems like there are lots of Sunoco stations on my new route...once I close on the house I may grab that card too.

Thanks CincyD, that’s the other reason I like gas cards too. It really helps to ward the fraud thing off. Congrats on the new house!

Are there any gas cards out there that are doing better then 3%? This sounds like a interesting method for detering fraud.

In terms of actual gas cards, Shell seems to be the best in terms of rewards. Both initial and rewards after. Someone  else maybe able to chime in.

i do have the shell gold status rewards. It seems good so far, i've only used it twice. But haven't thought of or know that they had a credit card that was worth looking into. Thanks
