Approvals Finally!

After being a long time lurker I have finally joined.

Backstory- Divorce three years ago with several charge offs and two repossessions. I have worked for the last year adamently paying old stuff off and getting some of the stuff removed. I apped for a capitol one QS1 and Platinum on the 14th. Due to fraud alert they called me and verified all info. Approved both with only 1 HP on each bureau. Since i literally paid off the charge off with Cap1 less than a month ago I only got a $300 SL on each card. I am happy with it and will PIF several times a month in hopes of getting a CLI soon. I also recently got a new car loan with my CU so I had quite a few inq.

Congrats on Cap One card! A 300.00 CL is exactly how I started. Even with that lower CL, use the card and pay several times a month. My bumps were always 2 to 3k at a time. Good Luck and welcome to the forum.

Congratulations. I also started with 2 Cap1 cards, after 6 months approved for a Barclays Rewards, 6 months later I now have a Discover IT. The Cap1 and Barclay cards have all gone up in CLI too. Continue your great progress and responsible credit management and good opportunities will be there for you !!
