Approved! Apple Card

I Got a notification from Credit Karma suggesting I increase my file. They gave me excellent approval odds for the Apple Card. So of course I hit this forum to see what people were saying about the card. After reading good reviews I applied and was approved in a matter of minutes for 3k! This is my highest SL so far on my credit Re-building journey after an 8 year hiatus. The one thing I don't understand is they said my score is 669. It is my understanding that they use TU and that Fico score is clearly 724. Do they do that to hit you with the higher interest rate?

First, congrats on your approval, and I hope your shiny new titanium Apple Card serves you very well! Like was stated, there are a lot of different scoring models out there. If you are using CK, what you are viewing on there is Vantage Score 3.0. While CK is a useful interface for monitoring your actual credit reports, pay no mind to their scoring algorithm as it is next to meaningless. Pretty much everyone uses FICO for their decisions. There are currently 28 versions of FICO out there. Apple (Goldman Sachs) happens to use TU FICO score 9 for their approvals, therefore that is the score that was displayed to you upon your approval.
