My mom was approved for Kohls but wanted to clarify something, being that it's a charge card does it have to be paid in full every month or is it like say a Walmart card and can carry a balance if wanted/needed.
I believe that if you choose to you are able to. Not a true "charge card" in the sense that it's like Amex's Green card. It's an unsecured revolver. Beware the high APR though.
Congrats on your mom's approval! ![]()
Congrats. Thanks for sharing.
I would recommend PIF because of the outrageous interest rate store cards carry...but it doesn't have to be paid off every month.
if it's a charge card you should have to pay in full because you can't carry a balance but I am not too sure how the kohls card works

You charge up to the amount of your limit, pay it off with minimum monthly payments (25.00 or higher if youve got a better limit its figured as a minimum or percent, with our low limit cards we always get the 25.00 minimum payment) or all at once the only difference is doing the payments will cost you apr fee (few bucks at the limits we have)
I think you end up paying about 20-21 bucks towards what you owe on a 25.00 minimum payment. Atleast thats how its been working out for me.
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
