Disco will definitely become one of your favorites.
When I was new to the credit game in 2013, they granted my 2nd credit card (BofA first w/ a $300 secured card) with a SL of 200 within 6 months they bumped it to 1.5K... 6 years later it got to 16.3K. It's a slow growth but they work with you. Play nice with Disco and Disco returns the favor

I applied and got $500. Happy I got approved but I'm tired of these tiny limit cards.
Do you have some negative reports from the past? Since in your first post you mentioned the past year you’ve been bringing your scores up. If you do, those are most likely keeping your SL down. Show responsible use (PIF) and Discover will grow. Great card with excellent 5% categories... I would also second the recommendation of calling and asking for a reconsideration on SL.

I would assume you still have the 4 collections reporting. I'm sure this is what is holding you back from getting better limits and CLIs.
Congrats on your approval !!!!
Others have already said this but i also give a recommendation for discover. Started building my credit about 1.5 years ago and Discover was my first card. They started me off with $750 as a student and its ballooned to $5.4k in less than 2 years. Plus they're pretty lenient with their offers and offer good customer service. When i applied for their card, I didn't even have a fico score to begin with

AAoA = 2 years, AAoOA = 3 year 1 months
Discover is really good for clis, use it and keep balances under 20%, i started with 800.00 now 8,000. and just got a 2nd it card for 16k. itll happen, just keep chuggling away.
Many folks on here know what my answer would be... Miss Discover....
Seems youve already been given the reasons why... Also seems Miss Disco has some concerns about your credit profile....
Use it wisely, even possibly attempt to make arraingements/settle/goodwill/PFD etc is very likely still in your best interest.... If you havent already checked out the rebuilding forums... those folks can give you some good advice on what to let lie low, what to try to work with and such....
Get your scores up a bit more ... do *not* go overlimit.... and pay multiple times a month....
Id settle out for 6 months to a year.... Lets see what happens with your scores and revisit it in awhile...Id think Amex, but you dont want to be down this same road... getting stuck with a 1K limit with Amex tends to cause for slower growth and you dont want a sticky amex where you dont get the 3x (or less) CLI when you expect it...

Congrats for the approval. What credit bureaus did Discover pull?
Congratulations on your approval and on your rebuilding!
