I received the card today , looks great, I had to use it just to make sure it was real. I went out and used it for dinner, very nice. Thank you for all the kudos . I will use it responsibly and grow my credit profile. This is a great forum and I have learned so much here, i have a long way to go but your (the forum) support has meant the world. Was the AMEX Green card your 1st and only card you had prior to you getting AMEX Platinum?

No drboxing , I have been working on rebuilding for 7 or 8 months, I have got some other good cards but I was blacklisted from amex for 28 yrs ( they wouldn’t even pull my credit when I applied, I burned them when I was young for $20,000 on a gold card)and it was my very first credit card as a adult so for me it kind of sentimental and symbolic , a changing of time if you will. Enjoy your successes my Forum Family , you earned them !

Thanks Bizfirst, Your story is similar to mines. Burned Amex in 2006, had Platinum, Delta Platinum ($12000SL), Business AMEX Gold Card. Business collapsed had to file BK. Applied for Green card April 2017 (Denied because of my scores) reapplied in July for Delta Gold approved for $1000SL. Looking to get a charge card within the next 12 months.
