Approved for Amex SPG!!

Thanks to prestiege4 post I took some good data points about applying for Amex cards. I logged onto my Amex account and clicked on the card I was interested in and it showed pre approved. So I decided to apply hoping it was not a HP because my previous 2apps was a HP and denial.
I was approved for SL $1000 just like my gold Delta Skymiles. I saw a lot of pre approvals as I click on blue cash, Hilton and delta platinum. Hopefully Amex will increase my limit with delta.

If I may ask OP how long have you had your delta for? Also have you requested a CLI yes?

I have had my delta card since October 2017. I have requested a cli a couple of times and was denied each time.

Here is a link that may help you https://www.timeanddate.com/date/duration.html. As with most AMEX products, 3x CLI is around 61 or so days. If you did not get it, then you are either on the 91+ or 181+ merry go round. Enjoy your new card.

Congrats on your SPG approval!!
If there's another Amex you want and need, check your preapproval 5 days from now to see if you can still get it

Im way ahead of you. I applied for Amex blue cash back and was approved $1000 SL this mornining. The 15 Month 0 apr and balance transfer is was what pulled me in. Im seeing Im pre approved for almost every card.

Some changes are expected to the SPG cards due to the AmEx/Chase agreement with Mariott/SPG. So I think it is good to accelerate to get the SPG cards before the changes.
