So, I had no intention of getting another credit card. But I had a bizarre experience with BH Photo where my iPad mini ended up at the other end of the country. TWICE. So, I processed a return (after not ever getting it lol) and decided to buy the iPad elsewhere. Amazon is shipping them in January in the version I want. Apple same. BestBuy had it in stock. I applied. They pulled Experian which has 19 inquiries, 6 the last year (including the BestBuy pull)

Datapoints: Fico on Experian is around 740. (due to the inquiries) My other ficos are in the 760s. Maybe the model for the credit card calculated my fico a bit higher, who knows. Utilization is about 10%

So I now have 0% financing on my iPad mini and a new card .
