So I was just approved for the Discover IT card with a CL of $1000. Is it possible to get my CL increased more when the card arrives and I have to activate it? Has this worked for anybody?

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Any suggestions? Should I try to recon for a higher CL?

You can try, but they will probably want to pull your report again. Discover isn't generally very generous with initial CLs or CLIs.

It doesn't hurt to ask and see if it can be done without an additional Hp
