My cat is having elective/emergency surgery tomorrow (he has a tumor on his bladder, and while it's technically elective surgery to me it's absolutely an emergency). The original estimate I got was affordable, but the official estimate that hit me this morning is almost double. I had some money saved and all, but not *this* much.

I don't qualify for CareCredit (burnt Synch a while back, and still have a lot of derog info on my account - working through it!). I decided to see what other options they have for payment at the vet clinic and came across Scratchpay. I did not expect at all to be approved and when I did get approved, I almost cried. This is such a relief. The whole estimate is covered, although it may still end up costing less.Plus, I have the funds that I already put away for his surgery too. I'm honestly so relieved, I'm about to celebrate with a Margarita (it's only 3 pm here, lol). I've been working so hard on cleaning up my credit these past few months, got some collections removed, paid off C/Os, etc. and I feel like it's all been worth it in the end, because now I when I need emergency assistance like this I can actually get it.

p.s. I know Scratchpay is not a CC but a medical type loan, but I hope this is still okay.

I've never heard of Scratchpay, but I'm so glad you came across them.

Your post is going to help a lot of folks in your situation who may not
