Approved for my first world MasterCard!

Long time lurker first time poster! Last night I got the itch to apply for the Barclaycard Arrival, I have their rewards card and have treated it very well over the past 10 months. My scores were in the high 600's with a few baddies still reporting from 5-6 years ago and a lot of inquiries that are over a year old from when I was aggressively trying build my credit so I said why not and give it a shot. While I filled the app my heart was racing, I was scared of rejection or instant denial. So after I hit the submit button I see the 10 day decision message and my heart sank. This morning I called in to the recon department to my surprise a gentlemen was on the phone. We went over everything, covered the baddies I had still on my report. After that he put me on hold and told me he could only approve me for their platinum version. I asked if it was possible to move over some of my rewards card credit line and he said sure and that made me eligible for their World MasterCard.

Just wanted to thank everyone on this forum that has helped motivate me and educate me on the "credit game" and wanted to help inspire others who are having trouble or loosing hope with the long wait that is rebuilding because with hard work you can change things around and it does get better!
