Approved with low limit for BOA Better Balance Rewards?

I just got approved for Bank of America's Better Balance Rewards with a credit limit of $900.00.

All my other credit limits are in my signature. Does BOA grow with you?

BoA will grow with you, but they may have given you that limit based on your income level. You can always call and recon the initial credit limit, and see if they can increase it.

My Better Balance card is way lower than my other cards also as you can see in my sig, however how much are you really going to charge on it? It's one card where I feel a lower limit is OK. I also have another card with BOA that is way higher. You can HP CLI when you like (I've done it at least twice on the other card which I got in fall 2011).

I agree. They actually started my limit at 3K, but I called and recon'd it to 6K. I don't see myself wanting a higher limit on this card, so I won't be asking for any CLI's for my BBR. Now my BoA CR account I will eventually ask for another increase, but not for a while.

I called the recon line and they said it was due to my limited history. Oh well! I was not planning on using this card excessively since the original purpose was to earn the $120 per year incentive.

I got a nice surprise this morning.. 

I just logged onto my Bank of America online account and saw.. my BankAmericard® Better Balance Rewards™ added into my account summary. Instead of the intitial $900.00 credit limit that was confirmed by two recon specialists, the credit limit is now $2,000.00.  I have not received my card yet, but the limit was definitely unexpected!

The last recon specialist I talked to told me they could not do anything about the initial low credit limit line. NICE!
